Extra large dark green and white handbuilt stoneware platter. Glazed with layered reactive rainforest and snow glazes to create this beautiful pattern when the glazes interact during a slow cone 6 firing (1,220C) in the kiln.
Different thicknesses during the glazing process result in a truly unique, one of a kind piece. Contrasting iron oxide wash on the outside, with texture created with seeds and shells when the clay was still wet.
