Blue stoneware bowl

Handbuilt in stoneware clay, this bowl is both practical and gorgeous as a display piece. Round shape, with some organic movement included in the rim. 

After the first firing, 5 different reactive glazes were used, layered in different patterns and thicknesses, to bring this striking result.

Never to be hidden in some dark cupboard somewhere, it is also a very special tableware item when not on display.
