Medium sized set of footed bowls handbuilt in highly grogged black stoneware clay. Each bowl was created by a mixture of first pinching the clay and then, once each design complete, adding a thick slip of the same clay to emphasise the texture.
After the first kiln firing, they are then brushed and poured with an ancient copper glaze at different thicknesses to keep to the natural, earthy look of the African collection.
These bowls are real multitaskers, whether used as decoration or to serve snacks. They can also be used separately or as a lidded set. Handwashing recommended.
